Local rules

U.S.G.A & THE FOLLOWING LOCAL RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY

EMBEDDED BALL: Anywhere “through the green” a ball which is embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground, except in loose sand or a hazard, may be lifted without penalty, cleaned, and dropped as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.

OUT OF BOUNDS: Boundary fences and white stakes defining the course. Driving range, defined by white stakes, behind of hole #6, and right of hole #7.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS: Cart paths, granulated surfaces, clubhouse buildings, rest houses, sprinkler heads, storm drains, valve boxes, yardage disks, 150 bushes, staked trees, and signage are immovable obstructions and relief of one club length may be taken without penalty (Rule 24-2)


LAKES: Regular Water Hazards are defined by yellow stakes. Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red stakes.

Players MUST keep carts 10 meters from all tees and greens.

All distances are measured in yards.

Colored yardage disks in fairway are measured to the center of the greens.

Please replace all divots and repair all ball-marks on greens.

Please rake bunkers after playing out of them.

Keep pace of play with the group ahead or the marshal will ask your group to skip the next hole.

Appropriate golf attire is required.    

CLUB DRESS CODE

All members and visitors shall be suitably attired at all times on the course and in the club house. The Dalat Palace Golf Course reserves the right to refuse play to any guest not confirming with a strict interpretation of the Dress Code

Shoes: Golfers are required to wear golf or tennis shoes on the golf course. Metal spikes or high heels are not permitted. The DPGC has golf shoes for rent and rubber spikes for sale.

Shirt: Must have collars and be tucked in at all time. No T-Shirt allowed. However, collarless shirts designed specifically for golf, may be worn on the course and in the club house. Women may wear tailor sleeveless shirts.

Trousers: Pants or shorts must be tailored. Shorts are to be Bermuda length (no more than 4 inches above the knee). ¾ length pants are acceptable.

No denim jeans or any kind.
